Get in touch:
What are you working on right now?
I am always painting. The current state of the world has a huge impact on the paintings I am producing in the studio. I feel it is extremely important to document our time through paint. The work I make will continue to explore current conflicts and women’s issues.
What would you like to say about Manufacturers Village Artist Community?
I have been lucky enough to be apart of the village for two years. During this time I have made such an enormous body of work. I do not think it would have been possible without the support and energy that fills magical warehouse. I have met so many visionaries in their respected fields, it has been an honor to be part of this community.
What's next for you?
That is a good question. This year is nothing like the one we all had planned. I was accepted to the Leroy Hoffberger School of Painting at MICA. I assumed getting my M.F.A. was the next step. My plans have changed and so has my mindset. Making my work is a priority and so is reaching a larger audience. Social Media has been great for making new friends and staying in touch with a lot of artists during this time when distance is embraced. Scaling down the size of my work I feel is essential. I want people to have the opportunity to see art even if that means on a phone or in print. Making stickers, drawings and books has been a great way to get ideas out there to share with all.
