What are you working on right now?

I found a chair on the side of the road. It was flattened and in pieces. It was a useful, but boring kind of a chair that gained a lot of interest by being run over, so I brought it back to my studio. I've been spending time with it, rearranging the pieces, making replicas of it, drawing it, trying to make something as interesting as that chair I found on the side of the road.

What would you like to say about Manufacturers Village Artist Community?

I like it. I feel very fortunate to have found it. The people are friendly but also respect the kind of solitude one needs to think.

What's next for you?

I'm planning on making an inflatable car.
