What are you working on right now?
I am currently putting the finishing touches on a group of sculptural pieces that include layered, transparent images that create an illusion of three dimensional space. Each piece is a hybrid of photography and painting techniques and deals with the tension between technology and nature. This work represents a long term artistic exploration for me, so it’s very satisfying to see the pieces come together.
What would you like to say about Manufacturers Village Artist Community?
It is inspiring to be a part of a diverse community of interesting and dedicated artists. There is a creative spirit in the air and it’s energizing to be a part of that.
What's next for you?
I am currently exhibiting in the Montclair Art Museum’s exhibition, Personal Landscapes, on display through November and the 2020 New Jersey Arts Annual, at the Morris Museum which runs until March of 2021.
