Winbury had an artist residency at; the School of Visual Arts, Manhattan, Edgewood Farms, Truro Mass and,a fellowship with the Bau Foundation, Otranto, Italy. She received an artist grant for Arad, Israel from the Jewish Federation. She is the artist in residence at Co-Co in Summit, NJ. Winbury studied for 15 years with artist Dorothy Yung, and for two years at the School of Visual Arts, Manhattan, NY. She has a BS from the University of Massachusetts, and a Psy.D. from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.
Winbury’s work represents the geography of the emotional and psychological world. Prior work explores; gender, mortality, and childhood memory. She merges nearly 20 years as an artist seamlessly with her 30 years as a psychologist. She is in private collections in; the States, Italy, Germany, London, and in public collections: Colopouzos Museum, Athens, Greece and Atlantic Healthcare Commission, NJ.
