Paula Stark is primarily a landscape painter working with encaustic, oils and painted paper collage.
She has had solo exhibitions in galleries throughout the US with a concentration in the Northeast & Mid Atlantic regions where she lives & works.
She has received support from the Helena Rubenstein Foundation, from M. Grumbacher, and from the MacDowell Colony.
Her work has been favorably reviewed in The New York Times, ARTNews & The Artist’s Magazine.
Ms Stark received her MFA from Parsons School of Design and her BFA from the University of NH. Her work is included in numerous private & public collections including the Asheville museum of Art, Western Carolina University, and Bryn Mawr College.
