Ruth Borgenicht

Ruth Borgenicht's first love was math, however, after being introduced to clay in her last year at Rutgers, she never looked back. Her sculptures are in the collection of many private and public collections, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Delaware Museum of Art, Sevre Museum in Paris, and Arianna Museum in Geneva.

She has received a NJ State Council on the Arts Fellowship, included in a ceramics biennial in South Korea, published in many books, catalogues, and magazines. She has been awarded numerous artist residencies and exhibited widely in the US and internationally.

Borgenicht resides in Essex County NJ, teaches at Montclair State University, leads hikes and forages for mushrooms.
